A form of a cross that is sometimes encountered (e.g. Image:POL Rzeszów COA.svg, File:Lungern-coat of arms.svg, File:Decorations-legion.jpg), which is intermediate between a Cross pattée and a Maltese Cross, but which is not a Maltese cross and is not really a Cross pattée according to usual English-language heraldic definitions (though it might sometimes have been considered to be a cross pattée).
