This picture is often said to depict the arrest of Gavrilo Princip, although several scholars say that it depicts the arrest of Ferdinand Behr, a bystander who was initially suspected of involvement in the assassination.^[1][2]

Atentát na Františka Ferdinanda d'Este, arcivévodu a následníka rakousko-uherského trůnu, byl spáchán 28. června 1914 v Sarajevu, hlavním městě Bosny a Hercegoviny. Během jízdy ulicemi města byli arcivévoda František Ferdinand a jeho choť Žofie Chotková napadeni skupinou šesti atentátníků, jejichž vůdcem byl Danilo Ilić.
