Barokní literatura nebo také literatura doby baroka je literatura, která byla napsána v období baroka, tedy v 17. století, popřípadě ještě v první třetině 18. století. Její časové vymezení se může lišit podle zemí a podle badatele. Václav Černý dával počátek barokní éry do souvislosti s dobovými náboženskými válkami v jednotlivých oblastech a navazujícím pocitem zmaru a nicotnosti člověka a světa. Ve Francii je literatura tohoto období často označována za raný klasicismus, byť zejména v novějších textech se již hovoří i o francouzské barokní literatuře. Někteří moderní badatelé, například Miloš Sládek nebo Jan Malura, také upozornili na značnou kontinuitu mezi obdobím humanismu a barokem, například ve způsobu rozšiřování literárních textů, tématech děl, silném vlivu antiky nebo převládajících žánrech. Malura proto za vhodnější označil pojem literatura raného novověku, do nějž lze zahrnout díla vzniklá zhruba mezi lety 1550 a 1750. .. pokračovat ve čtení
